CuNi 44, also called Constantan, is a copper-nickel alloy with high electrical resistivity, very low temperature coefficient of resistance, high ductility and good corrosion resistance.
CuNi44 wire is used to making any type of resistors, potentiometers, volume control devices. It is also used for thermocouple, thermocouple extension and compensating leads.
