We have conductive wires (magnet wire) in a wide range of alloys such as oxygen-free high thermal conductivity (OFHC) copper, copper alloys and copper clad aluminium.
We have single wire and tinsel wire including bare, tinned, nickel and silver plated copper and copper alloys as well as wide range of coatings.
Conductor wire alloys
Copper
Oxygen-free high-conductivity copper (OFHC) has excellent physical, electrical conductivity and thermal resistance properties. Alloy CDA 10100 and CDA 10200 are available.
Copper alloys
We have Cu-Ag alloys, Cu-Sn alloys, Cu-Mg alloys conductive wires, by adding a small amount of silver, tin or magnesium, the properties of the copper alloys such as creep strength, fatigue life, etc. are greatly improved, but the conductivity is not declined too much.
Copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) wire is a composite wire with electrical conductor grade aluminum as the core and oxygen free copper as the outer layer. The cladding process creates a permanent continuous weld between the two metals. CCA wire is particularly suitable for electrical applications where weight and conductivity are critical.
