Nickel iron alloys are a group of resistance alloys which have very low resistivity, high & positive temperature coefficient of resistance, their resistance value have a linear relationship with temperature, and the stability of the resistance is good.
Our Ni-Fe resistance alloys are vacuum melted, in addition with yttrium, yttrium is preferentially oxidized inside the alloy when the temperature is increased, forming a dense diffusion protection layer, preventing the serious oxidation of the alloy, ensuring the performance stability of the alloys and a longer service life under high temperature.
Ni-Fe alloys are mainly used in wire form for PTC thermistors, temperature compensating devices and low temperature heating elements.
