Pure nickel has excellent corrosion resistance in alkaline solutions (such as caustic soda), and also has excellent corrosion resistance to high-purity halogen gases and non-oxidizing acids. It is widely used in areas such as caustic soda concentration containers.
High purity nickel strip can be used in the manufacture of nickel cadmium, nickel hydrogen, nickel batteries, assembled batteries and instrumentation, telecommunications, electric vacuum, special bulbs.
